At the September general meeting, a long time BDI member and seed bead teacher will present Back to Basics with Peyote Stitch in preparation for the Component Extravaganza workshop offered by Sleepless Beader on September 24th, 2016. For more info, see Leslie Rogalski’s Bio.
Attendees should bring beads in two colors – size 11 or size 8 delicas, or whatever you prefer, plus thread, bead mat, light and magnifier if needed. The focus will be on beginners and some more advanced techniques for those that are already experienced in doing peyote.
If you have completed or in progress Peyote project, bring it to share with other members! See some peyote examples below (left to right): Easy peyote stacker bracelets, “lumpy” peyote bracelets different size beads, spools covered with easy peyote.
This class is free for BDI Members, and will follow a brief Members Meeting. There is a $5.00 guest fee for non-members, which may be applied to membership, good for 2016-17.
