How do you go from making polymer clay beads to creating marquetry like veneers for furniture? Obsession seems to be the right term. Since I was introduced to polymer clay over twenty years ago I cannot stop thinking about it and playing with it. It is the ideal medium for idea hamsters and out of the box thinkers. I will share a slide show that depicts the cross-section and development of our furniture and polymer clay techniques over the last 20 years. In addition there will be lots and lots of samples and I will give a demonstration of my most recent focus on marquetry-like millefiori veneers.
