Join BDI Members for our end of the month Bead-In. This is a great opportunity to work independently on the project of your choice, learn a few tips, discuss bead-related events, and be with people who share your passion.
EXTRA BONUS: Jacqui Ioli will do a short beginners’ demo of a tool called the “Easy Knotter” to make floating beaded necklaces, bracelets, and extenders.
If you are planning to follow along, you will need:
- Easy Knotter tool available at EasyKnotter.com, Amazon, Walmart, or Fire Mountain
- Griffin bead silk (available as above), size 6, is a good starting point for pearls, but you can use a larger size depending on the hole size of your beads.
- Bee’s wax
- Beads (use your stash)
- Bead tips (I like clamshell-shaped tips, also available as above)
- Glue (optional: GS hypocement)
- Sharp scissors
- Clasp
- Task light (optional)
All beading enthusiasts are welcome – no charge for the first visit; however, we request that you join BDI if you would like to attend any subsequent events. Membership is $30.00/year, and includes many benefits. See our website Beadesignerintl.org.

- Everyone on the BDI mailing list will receive an email via Constant Contact with Bead-In RSVP information. If you wish to join the mailing list, subscribe to our email list here.
- The first visit to a Member's Meeting, Bead-In OR Lunch & Bead is free, you need to become a member to attend subsequent events.
- Bead-Ins are held via Zoom or hybrid at present. Check each event online for date and time. Programs, workshops, locations, and details are available on our website: www.beadesignerintl.org/events/
- In order to avoid last minute scrambling, a deadline is posted for each event RSVP on the Constant Contact email sent by BDI. You must click on the "RSVP" or "Register" buttons for each event you wish to attend. Your RSVP or Registration can only be received by clicking on the appropriate button, in advance of the stated deadline (the link won’t work after the deadline). Paid members automatically receive the Zoom link for Bead-Ins. Non-members must RSVP to receive the link.
- If you think you are missing an email please check your spam folder. If there is still a problem, contact programming@beadesignerintl.org well in advance of an event. Email received within 30 minutes of the start of an event may not be seen or responded to, as we are busy preparing for the meeting.
