Selling Your Jewelry from A to Z

Presented by Sarah Beardslee

Learn how to sell your jewelry and hand crafted creations.  This presentation will cover everything from selling at craft fairs, art shows, and galleries, to purchasing insurance, and everything else in between!  Learn about the basics, and gain knowledge on some helpful tips that may surprise you.  This talk is great for newbies as well as those with experience selling their designs, and will help you take your business to the next level.

Sarah Beardslee is Chair of Beadesigner International, President of ArtsMedford, and a founding member of Arts Collaborative Medford (which is exploring creating an art center in Medford, MA). Her hand-made jewelry business, Beads by Beardslee, is now in its 14th year. She served as President of her synagogue (Temple Tifereth Israel, Malden) from July 2012 through June 2015, led its Sisterhood for four years, and spent many years teaching in its Hebrew school. She was an Educational Supervisor and salesperson for Usborne Books at Home for 10 years and spent 13 years at the Veteran’s Administration Outpatient Clinic in Boston helping conduct clinical trials in the pulmonary department. A musician by training, Sarah has played and performed on the recorder for the past 49 years. Originally from western NY, she has been a resident of Medford, MA for 29 years.
