BEAD EMBROIDERY PROJECT

This workshop will focus on troubleshooting and finishing your fun Patch necklace.

You will learn two bead backstitches and clean edge embroidery techniques. Connect your three finished patches into a necklace, and voila – a gift for yourself or another. Your kit contains all you need to make the necklace EXCEPT beading needle, threads and glue. Comes with 8.5×11″ full color instructions in addition to the classroom instruction. Kim Leahy is a self-taught bead artist who is highly motivated by pretty colors and odd objects. She has been teaching at national events such as BeadFest and Bead and Button for 3 years. Kim served on the Starman Trendsetter team for 3 terms and has been published in Beadwork, Bead and Button and Special Editions of Bead and Button books.

When not beading Kim prefers Mountain biking and skate skiing. She is the owner of Esther Beadwork and lives in Bend OR with her husband and a lazy cat.

When you get your registration confirmation, go to Kim’s Etsy store, EstherBeadwork, to pick out the color-way you prefer for the class, and any other kits you might desire.
Your confirmation email will also have Kim’s personal email so that you can contact her to place your order, but you must be sure to do so at least two weeks before class (deadline for ordering is September 10, 2021).
