Monthly Members Meeting includes a business meeting followed by a presentation, via Zoom.
Gina will talk about the history of paper beads and how she got into creating them. She will give a short tour of her studio and show examples of her work both in her studio and on her website. There will be a demo that includes finishing your beads and tips and tricks. At the end of the presentation there will be time for a brief Q&A.
Hi! I’m Gina. I design jewelry from mixed media art. I worked as a clinical administrator in healthcare for 20 years; when I felt burned out from my work, I became hooked on making paper beads. In addition, I returned to school to become a registered Yoga teacher. The combo of Yoga/meditation and developing new shapes and sizes of paper beads, along with rolling them into these little treasures, was very therapeutic!
I started a paper bead group on Facebook (https://www.Facebook.com/groups/236164590836471) to share my ideas and I have my own YouTube channel (https://m.YouTube.com/cBellieBeads).
I operate my own small business (https://www.belliebeads.com) where I supply paper strips for all the people out there looking to just roll beads without the hassle of cutting paper. My paper strips are precisely cut for well-rounded beads. I have created over 72 shapes and sizes of paper beads. In addition to paper beads, I create paper shapes for jewelry. I love the journey that led me to this very spot and I have never looked back. Join me in expressing your creative side, and yes everyone has one…..Never stop creating!
Registration
Member meetings and programs are free for Members and first-time guests. After attending one meeting we ask that guests join our group ($30/yr) if they wish to attend a subsequent meeting.
This is a virtual monthly Members meeting. RSVP deadline is two days before this event. (RSVP Monday, get link Tuesday, meeting Wednesday).
A Zoom link will be sent the morning of the day before the event to everyone who has RSVP’d.
A Zoom link will be sent only to those who RSVP via the Constant Contact email invitation or the reminder email by using the RSVP button included. Please note that the RSVP button in your email will not work after the deadline.
If you are not currently receiving our emails, you can sign up via this website to receive BDI information and updates.
BDI members may have access to registrations links via the BDI website Members Only section prior to general signup via the newsletter as and when available.

You will need an internet connection and a device you can use with Zoom (laptop or desktop computers seem to work best). Your Zoom link will be sent prior to the meeting.
