This is a hands on workshop to create a page, add text and style it. Then size, crop and place a photo on the page. The November 15th lecture is not required, but strongly suggested. The programs we’ll use are WordPress and Irfanview. (Irfanview is a free program. You can download it and try it ahead of time if you like.)
We will be editing temporary pages on the Beadesigner website. If you are a Beadesigner member, or sign up to become one at the workshop, you may choose to keep your page and edit it on an ongoing basis.
Bringing your own laptop is required. Please make sure it’s fully charged.
Please bring a word document with a title, subtitle and one to three paragraphs about yourself and your work. You will be placing it on a page and styling it.
Bring also 1 to 3 photos. We will size and crop one of them together.
If there is time, we will look at adding photos to a gallery and placing it on a page.
There is a 10 person maximum for this class.
Cost is $5 for nonmembers, as space allows, which may be applied to cost of membership.
